CCM & MMP2

Two fully automatic machines which complement each other for the production of high quality cup chain. Flat calibrated strip is fed to the CCM which stamps the individual cup and its connecting rod. Assembly of the two pieces is carried out continuously forming a uniform chain of empty cups with prongs open. For extra strength a laser can be applied for spot welding the cups closed. The chain can then be processed (diamond cut, coloured etc.). The processed cup chain is then fed to the MMP2, into which the stones have been loaded and via a vibrating hopper delivers them to the insertion tooling for positioning the stones into the waiting cups of the chain. The insertion action also closes the prongs around the stone. The new MMP2 model is able to handle 2 different colour stones (optional kit), positioning them in any desired sequence.
