MFS
Part of the Spring Ring production line, the MFS is an automatic machine which sees to creating a continuous spiral of cored hollow tube. Taking the cored tube directly off a spool, it creates a uniform continuous spiral which is wound onto an awaiting spool so as to be loaded onto the next machine in the process. Allows for rapid tool change for different diameter tubes.
FAM
Part of the Spring Ring production line, the FAM is an automatic machine which sees to creating the housing for spring rings. A continuous spiral is fed into the machine, which then, with a double cutting action, separates single housings from the spiral while cutting out the opening of the spring ring. The process also automatically straightens out the shell, compensating the spiral effect.
It then cuts out the latch opening with the second cutter, discharging the finished pieces into an awaiting tray. All cutting operations are carried out in a fully lubricated environment, with all of the cutting scrap being filtered and stored, awaiting removal for refinery. Cutting/lubricating fluids are recycled continuously. Allows for rapid tool change for different diameter springs.MSSA
Part of the Spring Ring production line, the MSSA is a sophisticated machine which sees to creating and then automatically soldering an endring to the Spring Ring housing. Empty Spring Ring housings are loaded into a vibrating hopper and together with solid wire fed through a spool, the machine in 3 simple steps manufactures and solders the endring in position before discharging it into a waiting receptacle.
The endring can be positioned parallel or perpendicular to the Spring Ring, and can be soldered shut or left open according to the manufacturing requirements. Soldering is obtained with an intermittent H + O gas flame and appropriate alloy wire.
The whole process is mechanically controlled via a 14 cam shaft with only electronic control of the speed setting, thus enhancing simplicity of the machine and its operations.MMA
Part of the Spring Ring production line, the MMA is a highly sophisticated machine which sees to final assembly and testing of the complete Spring Ring. The unit is fed empty Spring ring housings, a spool of stainless steel spring, and a spool of solid wire (for latch).
The empty housings with soldered end rings are tossed into a vibrating hopper so as to be automatically loaded onto a rotating table which accompanies the piece to various work stations.
Each station carries out a specific function i.e. stainless steel spring cutting and insertion, latch manufacturing and insertion, locking of the parts, final testing and selection of the complete assembly, discharge of the finished pieces. An extremely compact machine, running at a high productivity level thanks to innovative design and containment of dimensions, this machine is a jewel of micro mechanics.
All of the functions are carried out via a 15 cam shaft, thus enhancing simplicity of the machine and speed of its operations. -
